#2 When it All starts

The summer weather was fair, not too hot and not too cold. There was a cool breeze blowing that day as Kaleb and Shawn were outside at a barbeque. They were just talking about the upcoming school year and enjoying the sun of the last day of the summer. We were 14 then and didn't care to think that life would become much more complex.

"So what do you think of Lydia?" Shawn asked Kaleb.

"I don't know, she's pretty nice, I've known her since like childhood, but haven't really become friends with her or anything. Why? Are you interested in her?" Kaleb replied.

"Nah... it's just we spend alot of time together because our brother's hangout all the time."

"haha I see."

As the summer came to an end, autumn soon began and with it, school. Shawn, Kaleb and Lydia all went to different schools. Kaleb to the north, Lydia to the south, and Shawn in the middle. Shawn always liked sports and decided to join the football team. As for Kaleb, he could have joined the football team, but he decided on tennis. He had started playing tennis when he was in 5th grade with his two cousins (i'll put in there name later). Kaleb was only mediocre at the sport, never really putting all his effort into anything, he just liked to enjoy what he did rather than being stressed out. 

"Kaleb, wait up!" (pause screen) Said Josh. 

Josh was another of Kaleb and Shawn's friends. They had grown up with eachother but all three of them had only become good friends a few years before. Josh was a smaller kid, with a bright smile and a pure heart, he would soon face the difficulties of life. 

"Oh... hey." Said Kaleb.

"So are you ready for tennis tryouts? What do you think JV will be like? I hear varsity is intense! And supposedly no frosh has made it into varisty." said Josh.

"Yea... I'm not too worried about JV. But all this practice and conditioning is hard. I'm like dying after we do lines to warmup."

"Hahaha, yea I know what you mean, but let's hurry or the coach will get mad at us for being late to practice."
